Looking to do something other than play bingo on a Sunday afternoon> Well, II have just the ticket for you.
Every Sunday from 29 June – 5 October 2008, 15h00 – 15h45, the Highlights of the Cezanne exhibition and other works will be on tour , done by the research students from The Courtauld Institute of Art. Entrance is free with admission, and you’ll no doubt get to hear some fascinating facts about the exhibition.
To me, Cezanne is one of those painters whose work you immediately recognise when yous see one of his paintings. Like a Pierneef, he is painting, drawings and prints are unique. They even have some of his hand-written letters on display.
They should open a bingo room that has a theme of famous artists, so that we could get a cultural education whilst playing, and have art – themed bingo games too. I’d love that. Maybe I’ll suggest it to one of my online bingo places. I’ll tell you what they say.
