Ebay’s not working so well for me anymore….

I put a few DVd’s up for sale on eBay, full description etc, and they never sold. It seeems that dvd’s are not that popular these days?

Is that true? Are DvD’s already old hat ? If so whatever will I do with the old videos I still have ???

I winder if Bingo will ever become ‘old hat’ ? …. Oh the things we ponder…..

Strange eBay sales – including seeds….

High energy bird seeds any one? They are for sale on eBay!  They call it a “a rich and nourishing mixture of wild bird seed that will keep them coming back for more” which potentially has me more worried – what are they really putting in the stuff?

If I buy some, will the birds go ZOOMING faster? Will they build nests quicker, and do group ‘fly-by’s’ that would put the Red Arrows to shame?  Jeez, if that’s the case I’d love to buy some and see the response.

Hopefully the birds don’t come back because there’s something naughty in the bag…. another  thought that struck me. Like the elephant in India that was hooked on Heroin.. poor thing!

So, if I ate some of this bird seed, would I  be more alert at Bingo? Play better and read faster? I wonder…..

Technology to challenge a non- technical person.

Well, I am looking at buying an MP3 player.  The problem is, with all of them on the market, I have no idea which one I should buy.  I’ve been looking on eBay, and I’m confused. Everyone knows the standard iPod, and I see there is a thing called a Zen, and a Neo, and a Sony, and a Samsung, and I have no idea what to pick. It’s likely I’ll never need 27 000 songs on my player, but I’d love a few eBooks loaded on it so I could listen on the train, even learn French!

Then we have to decide between 1Gb, 2Gb, 10Gb, all the way up to 80Gb – when will it ever end?

It so difficult! That’s why I am a Bingo player and not a poker player. Poker requires too much working out, strategising and I don’t want to have to think about these things, I just want to load music / books and play! I want to buy Bingo cards and play. The hardest thing I have to do in Bingo is keep up with the chat – it can get pretty quick – and choose a 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, or 50p card. How difficult can that be?

Anyone have an idea and wants to offer good free advice – PLEASE?
