I just read a blog about girl that got hit on in the supermarket. Now, I know about clubs and pubs, and even online dating, even done online dating myself a bit. Just to check it out of course she says nervously… But I have nere been hit on in the supermarket. Well that might be cos I never get near a supermarket. ‘Why?’ I hear you asked in an interested tone.
Well, cos I shop online, like any self respecting ’techie’ of course.
I play Bingo online too, and even a few casino games online (they are inside the bingo software so it’s easy to do).
It’s all so convenient.
I mean in this day and age a girl’s gotta use whatever she can to get ahead in this world, and the online world is at my finger tips – literally! One click, insert URL and away we go!
So, am I missing out? Is the love of my life searching the aisles for me and I’m searching the web pages instead? Who knows, it’s likely that a partner my age would be as technically savvy as I, if not more, and he’d want convenience too, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t pop into a supermarket now and then. Which means I shall have to as well.
But which one? Is Waitrose better than Tesco or Sainsburys? Do you meet a better type person in Asda? Is there snobbery in shopping I’ve never even noticed?
Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained they say, so excuse me if you will, I’ve bought my Bingo tickets, put the auto dabber on, and I’m off to Waitrose to buy a loaf of bread.
